The Pioneers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Rio Mesa trounced San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Highlanders now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newbury Park for a challenge on Thursday, September 15.
