In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Cosby Eagles soccer squad scored a good 9-0 triumph over the Northview Academy Cougars.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cocke County (Newport, TN). The Fighting Cocks come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Cocke County was overwhelmed by Seymour (Seymour, TN), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Campbell County was overwhelmed by Oneida (Oneida, TN), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
