The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN) and the host Harding Academy Lions (Memphis, TN), saw Evangelical Christian's soccer squad get by Harding Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Eagles now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Houston for a non-league test on Friday, September 2. Evangelical Christian will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over University School of Jackson (Jackson, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Harding Academy drops to 2-2 on the season. The Lions host First Assembly Christian (Cordova, TN) to meet the Crusaders in a D II-A West 6 test on Monday, September 12. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 2-1.
