North Carolina High School Football - Chase smashes North Gaston

The Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) football routed the visiting North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 48-14 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 8. Chase will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Ironmen enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Forestview walloped Freedom (Morganton, NC), 26-12, in a non-league bout.
