Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sundevils confront the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Sandia Prep will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

The Horsemen now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taos for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15.
