The Kewanee Boilermakers soccer team scored 7 points and limited the visiting Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes to 4 in the Boilermakers non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Boilermakers face the DePue/Hall Little Giants (DePue, IL) in a Three Rivers contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Kewanee will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Little Giants enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Riverdale (Port Byron, IL).

The Tornadoes now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Limestone for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 3. Abingdon/Avon will face a Rockets team coming off a 7-0 league win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 5-1.
