The Epiphany Falcons smashed the visiting Christ Covenant Spartan soccer squad by a margin of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league match.

The Falcons now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Wayne Country Day for a NCISAA Coastal Plain match on Thursday, September 8.

With the loss, Christ Covenant drops to 2-4 on the season. The Spartan host Community Christian (Wilson, NC) to encounter the Cyclones in a NCCAA 2A North match on Tuesday, September 6. The Cyclones come into the match with a record of 5-0. Community Christian won 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC)
