The Marquette Mustangs held off the visiting Parkway West Longhorns soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Rock Bridge for a non-league match on Saturday, September 10.
With the loss, Parkway West drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Parkway North (St. Louis, MO) to play the Vikings in a Suburban - South game on Tuesday, September 13. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 0-1.
