The Newton Eagles soccer team scored 9 points and limited the host St. Teresa Bulldogs to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Charleston Trojans (Charleston, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 3. Newton will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL).
