Nebraska High School Softball - Syracuse knocked off by Centennial

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE) softball team overwhelmed the host Syracuse Rockets (Syracuse, NE), by a margin of 12-1.

With the triumph, Centennial moves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Broncos travel to Milford (Milford, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 3. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-2. Milford lost 9-4 in their recent non-league contest against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE)

In their next game, the Rockets play the Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 3. Syracuse will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Freeman (Adams, NE).
