The Twin River Titans softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Kearney Catholic Stars to 1 in the Titans non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Twin River improves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Titans host Aquinas (David City, NE) to clash with the Monarchs in a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. The Monarchs come into the game with a record of 6-2. Aquinas won 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Schuyler (Schuyler, NE)
In their next game, the Stars clash with the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 6. Kearney Catholic will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Bison come into the game with a 3-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Cozad (Cozad, NE).
