Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE), 2-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Pleasanton Bulldogs (Pleasanton, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 6. Anselmo-Merna will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Overton (Overton, NE).
