In Thursday's non-league contest, the Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the C-Hawks battle the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 13. Canton will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record.

With the loss, Irene/Wakonda moves to 0-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD) to battle the Huskies in a B Region 5 contest on Thursday, September 8. The Huskies go into the contest with a record of 1-3.
