In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Crow Creek Chieftains.
The Braves (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD). The Mustangs come into the A Region 6 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, McLaughlin achieved victory over Todd County (Mission, SD), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Chieftains clash with the Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD) in a A Region 5 battle, on Thursday, September 8. Crow Creek will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Cubs come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wagner (Wagner, SD).
