In Thursday's non-league contest, the Coosa Christian Conquerors (Gadsden, AL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Faith Christian Lions (Anniston, AL), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Conquerors face the Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL) in a 1A Area 13 contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Coosa Christian will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Geraldine (Geraldine, AL).
With the loss, Faith Christian moves to 1-3 on the year. The Lions host Winterboro (Alpine, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 8 contest on Monday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 1-2.
