The Monroe Central Golden Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Cowan Blackhawks to 1 in the Golden Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Golden Bears now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winchester Community for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Monroe Central will meet a Golden Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Union County (Liberty, IN). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 8-5.

The Blackhawks (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Greenfield-Central was dropped by Fairfield (Goshen, IN), 2-0, in a non-league game.
