South Dakota High School Volleyball - Riggs over Douglas

Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Governors battle the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) in a B Region 2 match, on Saturday, September 3. Riggs will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Huron (Huron, SD).

With the loss, Douglas drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Hill City (Hill City, SD) to battle the Rangers in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 6. The Rangers come into the match with a record of 4-3.
