In Thursday's non-league contest, the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Mustangs face the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) in a 5A Area 2 contest, on Tuesday, September 6. Ola will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA).
With the loss, Jonesboro moves to 13-6 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Westside (Macon, GA) to face the Seminoles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 6. The Seminoles go into the contest with a record of 0-2.
