Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Nordics (Newfolden, MN), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Goodridge/Grygla Chargers (Goodridge, MN) in a Northern Lights match, on Thursday, September 8. Lake of the Woods will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.

With the loss, Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Nordics host Kittson Central/Lancaster (Hallock, MN) to clash with the Bearcats in a Northern Lights match on Tuesday, September 6. The Bearcats come into the match with a record of 0-1.
