West Virginia High School Volleyball - Philip Barbour over Lincoln

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) and the visiting Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), saw Philip Barbour's volleyball squad beat Lincoln by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Philip Barbour improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Colts travel to Grafton (Grafton, WV) to confront the Bearcats in a Big Ten test on Thursday, September 1. The Bearcats enter the test with a record of 0-1.

The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their test against South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, South Harrison gained a win over Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV), 3-2, in a non-league test.
