The Prairiland Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host New Boston Lions to 1 in the Patriots non-league victory on Thursday.

The Patriots now have a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a non-league game on Thursday, September 1. Prairiland will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sherman (Sherman, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.

The Lions (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Community (Nevada, TX). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Community held off Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
