With the win, Powdersville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Patriots host Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC) to face the Bears in a AAA Region 2 outing on Thursday, September 8. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 2-5.

The Wildcats now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Greenwood Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 6. Ninety Six will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Emerald (Greenwood, SC). The Hawks record now stands at 6-2.
