The Wenonah Dragons held off the host Pleasant Grove Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Dragons now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfield for a 5A Area 9 contest on Thursday, September 29.

With the loss, Pleasant Grove drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Gardendale (Gardendale, AL) to battle the Rockets in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 6. The Rockets come into the contest with a record of 8-2.
