In Friday's non-league game, the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) football team smashed the visiting Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX), by a score of 51-0.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region I District 7 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Berkner was ripped by McKinney (McKinney, TX), 35-14, in a non-league game.

The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Molina for a 5A-1 Region II District 5 game on Friday, September 8. Adams will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 49-14 non-league loss to Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
