Nebraska High School Football - St. Cecilia defeats Amherst

September 1, 2023: Hastings, NE 68901

In Friday's non-league match, the host St. Cecilia Bluehawks football squad scored a good 19-6 victory over the Amherst Broncos.

In their next game, the Bluehawks clash with the Gibbon Buffaloes (Gibbon, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. St. Cecilia will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 28-14 non-league loss to Wood River (Wood River, NE).

The Broncos (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Chase County (Imperial, NE). The Longhorns enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Chase County dropped by Sidney (Sidney, NE), 21-14, in a non-league match.
