Oklahoma High School Football - Midway drops to Arkoma

September 1, 2023: Council Hill, OK 74428

In Friday's non-league game, the Arkoma Mustangs (Arkoma, OK) football team knocked off the host Midway Chargers (Council Hill, OK), by a score of 56-30.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Webbers Falls (Webbers Falls, OK). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Webbers Falls toppled Wesleyan Christian (Bartlesville, OK), 56-27, in a non-league game.

The Chargers now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bowlegs for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Midway will battle a Bison team coming off a 45-38 non-league loss to Olive (Drumright, OK). The Bison record now stands at 0-1.
