Texas High School Football - Parkland routs Austin

The Parkland Matadors football squad scored 42 points and restricted the host Austin Panthers to 10 in the Matadors non-league victory on Friday.

The Matadors now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burges for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Parkland will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 52-45 non-league loss to Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Austin will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 21-19 non-league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX).
