    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats (Skidmore, TX) and the visiting Ben Bolt Badgers (Ben Bolt, TX), observed Skidmore-Tynan's football squad defeat Ben Bolt by a count of 28-6.

    The Bobcats now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Aransas Pass for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Skidmore-Tynan will play a Panthers squad coming off a 58-6 non-league loss to Ingleside (Ingleside, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.

    Coming up next, the Badgers play the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions (Kingsville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 8. Ben Bolt will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 27-13 non-league win over Banquete (Banquete, TX).
