Texas High School Football - Quitman sneaks past Big Sandy

The Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) football edged the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 21-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 8. Quitman will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 25-14 non-league loss to Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX).

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Linden-Kildare was nudged by Alba-Golden (Alba, TX), 52-0, in a non-league bout.
