The Bishop Blanchet Bears thwarted the visiting Redmond Mustangs football team by a count of 42-20 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Bishop Blanchet upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears host O'Dea (Seattle, WA) to encounter the Fighting Irish in a 3A Metro - Mountain outing on Friday, September 8. The Fighting Irish go into the outing with a record of 1-0. O'Dea won 40-0 in their recent non-league outing against Union (Vancouver, WA)

With the loss, Redmond moves to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Foster (Tukwila, WA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Foster won 26-0 in their recent non-league test against Cleveland (Seattle, WA)
