Tennessee High School Football - Ripley nips Bolivar Central

September 1, 2023: Ripley, TN 38063

In Friday's league match, the host Ripley Tigers football squad scored a close 45-38 victory over the Bolivar Central Tigers.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) in a 3A Region 7 match, on Friday, September 8. Ripley will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 28-20 non-league loss to Fayette Academy (Somerville, TN).

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Trojans enter the 3A Region 7 match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Dyersburg held off Covington (Covington, TN), 24-0, in a league match.
