Tennessee High School Football - Briarcrest Christian succumbs to Lipscomb Academy

The Lipscomb Academy Mustangs thwarted the host Briarcrest Christian Saints football team by a count of 42-20 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lipscomb Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN) to encounter the Red Raiders in a Division II-AAA East outing on Friday, September 8. The Red Raiders go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Baylor won 51-21 in their recent non-league outing against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY)

With the loss, Briarcrest Christian moves to 1-2 on the season. The Saints host Ridgeway (Memphis, TN) to encounter the Roadrunners in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Roadrunners go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Ridgeway lost 42-6 in their recent non-league outing against Brighton (Brighton, TN)
