The Ridgeway Roadrunners football team (Memphis, TN), was ripped 42-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN)

The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kingsbury (Memphis, TN). The Falcons come into the 5A Region 8 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Kingsbury was ripped by Evangelical Christian (Cordova, TN), 63-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Roadrunners now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Briarcrest Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Ridgeway will meet a Saints team coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN). The Saints record now stands at 1-2.
