In Friday's league match, the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves football squad scored a good 34-6 victory over the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes.

In their next game, the Braves clash with the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. Britton-Hecla will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 53-0 non-league win over Garretson (Garretson, SD).

The Coyotes (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Patriots enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Hitchcock-Tulare ran past Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD), 62-8, in a non-league match.
