The Bullock County Hornets football squad scored 20 points and restricted the host LaFayette Bulldogs to 14 in the Hornets non-league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montgomery Academy for a 4A Region 2 battle on Friday, September 8. Bullock County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 34-7 non-league loss to Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Reeltown Rebels (Notasulga, AL) in a 2A Region 3 battle, on Friday, September 8. LaFayette will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 41-14 non-league win over Tallassee (Tallassee, AL).
