Maryland High School Football - Calvert beat St. Charles

September 1, 2023: Waldorf, MD 20602

The Calvert Cavaliers football squad scored 31 points and restricted the host St. Charles to 19 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Friday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chopticon for a Southern Maryland - Potomac battle on Saturday, September 9. Calvert will face a Braves squad coming off a 14-9 league loss to Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Braves record now stands at 0-3.

Next up, the meet the Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. St. Charles will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 47-7 league loss to Northern (Owings, MD).
