The Canyon Ridge Riverhawks thwarted the visiting Wood River Wolverines football team by a count of 21-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Canyon Ridge upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Riverhawks travel to Columbia (Nampa, ID) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Columbia won 41-14 in their recent non-league outing against Fruitland (Fruitland, ID)

With the loss, Wood River moves to 1-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Jackson Hole (Jackson, WY) to encounter the Broncs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8.
