Pennsylvania High School Football - Central trounces Somerset

September 1, 2023: Martinsburg, PA 16662

In Friday's league match, the host Central Dragons football squad scored a big 47-6 victory over the Somerset Eagles.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) in a Laurel Highlands match, on Friday, September 8. Central will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 35-0 league win over Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA).

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans enter the Laurel Highlands match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Greater Johnstown was crushed by Tyrone (Tyrone, PA), 35-0, in a league match.
