North Carolina High School Football - Charlotte Latin trounced by Metrolina Christian Academy

The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors walloped the visiting Charlotte Latin Hawks football team by a count of 35-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Metrolina Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Warriors host Covenant Day (Matthews, NC) to confront the Lions in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 2-1. Covenant Day won 54-6 in their recent league outing against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC)

With the loss, Charlotte Latin moves to 0-3 on the season. The Hawks host Carver (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Carver lost 32-16 in their recent non-league outing against Lexington (Lexington, NC)
