Arizona High School Football - Cienega knocks off Paradise Valley

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Cienega Bobcats (Vail, AZ) and the visiting Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), observed Cienega's football squad thwart Paradise Valley by a tally of 30-17.

The Bobcats now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Tucson High Magnet School for a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. Cienega will play a Badgers squad coming off a 43-7 non-league loss to Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 8. Paradise Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 50-0 non-league win over Nogales (Nogales, AZ).
