Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Cloverdale Eagles (Cloverdale, CA), 36-17 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Piner improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Prospectors host San Rafael (San Rafael, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, September 8. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-0. San Rafael won 30-14 in their recent non-league test against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA)

With the loss, Cloverdale drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lower Lake (Lower Lake, CA) to battle the Trojans in a North Central I test on Friday, September 8. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-1. Lower Lake won 38-0 in their recent non-league test against Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA)
