The Western Reserve Blue Devils thwarted the visiting Columbiana Clippers football team by a count of 28-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to McDonald (McDonald, OH) to encounter the Blue Devils in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet outing on Friday, September 8. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 3-0. McDonald won 28-6 in their recent non-league outing against Memorial (Campbell, OH)

With the loss, Columbiana moves to 0-3 on the season. The Clippers host United (Hanoverton, OH) to encounter the Golden Eagles in a Eastern Ohio outing on Friday, September 8.
