Texas High School Football - North Lamar gets by Community

September 1, 2023: Nevada, TX 75173

The North Lamar Panthers football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Community Braves to 28 in the Panthers non-league win on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Bonham for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. North Lamar will play a Warriors squad coming off a 45-6 non-league loss to Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Braves play the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Community will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Indians go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 33-27 non-league win over Ferris (Ferris, TX).
