North Carolina High School Football - SouthLake Christian Academy crushed by Covenant Day

September 1, 2023: Matthews, NC 28105

In Friday's league game, the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) football team smashed the visiting SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), by a score of 54-6.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Metrolina Christian Academy overwhelmed Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 35-0, in a non-league game.

The now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Island Charter for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. SouthLake Christian Academy will battle a Raptor team coming off a 24-21 non-league win over Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Raptor record now stands at 2-0.
