The Olton Mustangs walloped the visiting Dimmitt Bobcats football team by a count of 43-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Olton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Texico (Texico, NM) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Wolverines go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Texico won 30-8 in their recent non-league outing against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM)

With the loss, Dimmitt moves to 1-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Sunray (Sunray, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Sunray lost 23-20 in their recent non-league outing against Stratford (Stratford, TX)
