Texas High School Football - Southwest defeats Floresville

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Southwest Dragons football squad scored a good 35-21 victory over the Floresville Tigers.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 match, on Thursday, September 7. Southwest will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 45-14 non-league loss to Zapata (Zapata, TX).

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Somerset ran past Central Catholic (San Antonio, TX), 21-16, in a non-league match.
