The Gurdon Go-Devils held off the visiting Foreman Gator Arkansas football team by a count of 1-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Gurdon upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Go-Devils host Dierks (Dierks, AR) to face the Outlaws in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Outlaws enter the bout with a record of 1-1. Dierks won 36-6 in their recent non-league bout against Horatio (Horatio, AR)
The Gator Arkansas (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Hampton was nudged by Poyen (Poyen, AR), 45-0, in a non-league bout.
