The Penney Hornets (Hamilton, MO) football overcame the visiting Gallatin/Tri-County (Gallatin, MO), 28-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO) in a KCI bout, on Friday, September 8. Penney will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 69-7 non-league loss to Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO).
