The Karns Beavers football team (Knoxville, TN), was beaten 49-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN)

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Eagles come into the 4A Region 2 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Seymour was beaten by Northview Academy (Kodak, TN), 28-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Beavers now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Ridge for a 5A Region 3 challenge on Friday, September 8. Karns will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 35-21 non-league win over Powell (Powell, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
