In Friday's non-league game, the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) football team smashed the host Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), by a score of 63-0.
The Highlanders (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Cave Spring was ripped by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 30-27, in a non-league game.
